This is a copy of our Behavior Policy that you will be asked to sign at our Registration.

HSN Student/Parent Agreement:

Attending a homeschooling co-op is a privilege. We ask that each parent and student sign
this agreement to insure that all who attend HSN understand the behavior policy and agree
to adhere to the rules and exhibit the expected behavior. This agreement is to help ensure
a safe and beneficial environment for all families attending. Every parent is authorized to
enforce the following guidelines.

  • 1. If the student is not in a class, they are ALWAYS to be under the direct supervision
    of the parent or designated adult.
  • 2. The student is not to be outside the building at any time without a parent or other
    responsible adult.
  • 3. Parents will be responsible for knowing where their children are at all times.
  • 4. All attendees (students and adults) must wear their HSN name tag & lanyard at all
    times.
  • 5. Students will display a good attitude in class, including a willingness to participate
    with a cheerful attitude. Disrupting class in any way is not tolerated.
  • 6. Students will always show respect for those in authority.
  • 7. At no time is it appropriate or tolerable to use foul language or cruel words.
  • 8. At no time is it appropriate to hit, kick, or otherwise physically hurt another person.
  • 9. Weapons are not allowed on the premises, inside or outside.
  • 10. Respect for the facilities and property belonging to the host church must be
    maintained.
  • 11. Out of respect for others and as a benefit for yourself, promptness to class and
    completion of assigned homework (modifications can be made with the teacher) is
    essential and expected.
  • 12. Parents are required to stay on the property during the time their children are
    involved in classes or other activities.
  • 13. Parents and students are responsible for reading and following the Dress
    Code/Appearance Guidelines.
  • 14. Public display of boyfriend/girlfriend relationships is not acceptable at the co-op..
  • Parents with students enrolled in HSN are responsible to fulfill the homeschooling
    requirements as stated by law
